Dragon doesn't integrate with Windows very well and totally sucks with Outlook98. Navigation is a bit of a joke. I can only guess that the Lernout stuff is better integrated even if a little less accurate. Within its own dictation window Dragon is pretty decent - everything the reviews say. BUT - these guys should clean up their act. Their memory requirements are nothing like what's printed on the box. Not with Win98 running anyway. Better have a minimum 128meg if you want to be able to go faster than a one-finger typer with arthritis. I'm looking for feedback on how Lernout is doing with the Win2000 betas. I think that's where they'll steal a march on Dragon - windows integration and navigation. Mostly dictation at 95%+ accuracy? Or, better Windows integration with 92% dictation accuracy? For the consumer market, I think the latter. I think the average user spends more time navigating than dictating, bwdik.
