HELLO Spiro and all,
Sorry about my absence of posting but i just got back from Park City. Snow kinda sucked, but had fun anyways. I have decided to delay the final list for another week because I havn't recieved the response I envisioned. I read a great article on vacation about the Blue Chip internets in Barrons. It was primarily about Mary Meekler? the Lead internet anylyst at Morgan Stanley and why she has been so hot on most of the names in our discussion. Her picks have been up an incredible amount and it is nice to see a confirmation from a top analyst relating to this idea. Most of her favorites our on our list. I also have seen a lot of press lately about how most fund managers are pissed about missing the boat last year on internets and are determined not to do so this year. Furthermore, I found it interesting to see a bunch of internet funds have started this year, (when only a handful existed last year)and feel strongly that all the mom and pops are going to jump on these funds like many jumped on spiders for the S&P. This should have an even stronger effect than spiders because the funds are actually going to be dumping money into only about 20 Companies rahter than 500. So It appears to me the new funds are going to support these lofty levels, and propel the blue chip internets even higher. Good for Us<GGG>. Anyways, keep those lists coming and here is how our group did today.
