Touche, I must have touched a raw nerve to bring out the defensive revelation about the "long" position and the degree. Lets not compare degrees. I like to think I have more depth than that. You are working on a degree in psychology - yet don't understand human behavior...I'm interested in psychology because I understand human behaviour. The netstock phenomenon is a classic example of upward spiral being reinforced. The triadic reciprocality, if you please. Unless the pattern breaks significantly, there cannot be a crash. A 20% correction is tantamount to a setback, it will only reinforce the reward system. Hence you see rallys after severe pullbacks. Just like a person lacking childhood support structure has a greater chance of becoming a criminal and staying a criminal than a person who has had a great support structure in his/her formative years. Hope you analyse a bit deeper and understand the analogy.
