Here's a current release: SAN DIEGO (Dow Jones)--Quidel Corp. (QDEL) received Food and Drug Administration clearance to market a five-minute strep throat test for doctors' offices. In a press release, Quidel said the new test is a lateral flow immunoassay containing highly specific and sensitive antibodies that are reactive to the strep bactrium, making the test at least 98% accurate. Quidel said diagnosis is made in five minutes without instrumentation.
