you can easily install DI to NTFS. I gives you the option for creating the boot diskettes when you install. Thats how I had it on my old machine. I booted off floppy to use it.

What is the FAT issue? Is it that one must store the Drive Image files on a FAT partition if one wants to restore them? Can one store the Drive Image files on the NTFS partition...the restriction being they can not be restored from the NTFS partition?

What is the advantage of installing Drive Image to the NTFS partition? If you have to boot from floppy why not just boot Drive Image from floppy?
