I have absolutely no problem with agreeing that DELL is slower than USUAL, over the last 3 months. BUT... look at some data... please!

1. DELL's EPS growth over the last 2 years (including 2 quarters of Value Line estimates) is 71%... with an r^2 factor of 100% (perfect regression).
2. DELL's Sales growth over the same last 2 years is 51%... with an r^2 factor of 98% (near-perfect regression).
3. EMC's EPS and Sales growth numbers are 35% (100% r^2) and 31% (100% r^2) respectively. Roughly HALF the growth rates of DELL.

If you think that DELL is slowing down for LONG, and is not going to continue its very predictable LONG TERM trend, consistent with its Sales and EPS growth trends... I think you are being quite short-sighted, just like Dennis has been... IMHO.
