Alas, grinding salt into the wounds...:) -Earthlink passed 1 mil subscribers and expects revenue to more than double during 99. -AMZN rumored to pre-announce their numbers, on the heels of their 3:1 split after the close today. -YHOO rumored to pre-announce as well...(gasp)... ...well into the evening the tiring grizzlies had continued to work at the steel traps which ruthlessly secured them to their inevitable demise. The largest (and most ferocious) of the lot realized that their was only one means of escape... ...it began chewing at the flesh around the toes of its trapped foot. The sacrifice of several digits would be the price to pay for such foolhardy judgment... ...immediately the pain set in...so excruciating...the monstrous grizzly bellowed in agony...even the dogs stopped barking in sympathy... ...the last surviving brethren began to consider the same avenue of escape...time was running thin...it would be daylight soon...and with the sunrise would come more slaughter... ...the once so proud and noble grizzlies, now let their heads hang low....they were alone...and their time was nearly up...
