I sent the following message to my congressman. Others may wish to copy the text from this message and paste it into their own letter at: house.gov * I am writing in regard to a discussion on the hill regarding charging a regular telephone fee for accessing the internet. I understand that the major telephone companies are lobbying for this legislation. I would like to strongly voice my disagreement with any sort of taxation and or fee related to the internet for the forseeable future. The leadership of US business is at stake! Any governmental efforts that will reduce the efficiency and effectiveness of this amazing new medium for communication will put the US at a grave disadvantage. Thanks. *
