More Internet Hype. Anybody notice this post on the Yahoo thread? messages.yahoo.com@m2.yahoo.com Seems our old buddy mooter is now saying he sold 70% of his position fall '97 when he heard "Line 1 wasn't working." Of course that didn't stop him from posting many times on this thread (during the fall and winter of '97) that his sources were also telling him that VLNC was ready to go. I wonder if Fred's sources also knew Line 1 wasn't working, or maybe Fred's sources just didn't know? Of course Fred still claims Line 1 was working just fine and VLNC simply didn't bother to make any money because they might make even more money a year later. So whose sources were right? Fred's? Mooter's? And who was truthfully telling us what their sources were saying? Maybe I was the only one who didn't know Line 1 wasn't working in the fall of '97? Given what happened to the stock price during the fall of '97, somebody's sources must have known the line wasn't working. Somehow, I missed that PR telling the rest of us that Line 1 wasn't working.
