Hi Rich, Do the math. The reality is that Columbia house has a very limited stable of artists. Only about 12 to 17,000 titles. They only distribute from their own select list of artists that they have produced the record for or have on contract. The CD costs less than nothing and then they make their bucks on the *member* getting stuck with unwanted music from marginally desired artists as time goes by. Compact Connection is not a club and offers 250,000 titles. They don't mail anything for you to return (Columbia House is changing that but the game of unwanted music will stilll be the same),and with CCI you are under no obligation to ever buy anything in the future. You will save the price of the card in your first 2 or 3 purchases. There is really no comparison once you understand the difference. Unfortunately there appears to be smilarities when we don't look under the hood. Just takes a bit of explining. Let's hope CCI teaches the kids how to overcome objections. Sword
