Hello Fred: In most cases (of course there are exceptions) a reverse
split is a last ditch effort for a company to stay listed on the
NASDAQ. In many cases the price will continue to decline and you end
up with the same story. Reversed stocks lose investor sentiment as it
is an indirect indicator that all is not well. As an added kick in the butt, some/most/all? online brokerages charge $35 (Ameritrade-I
have first hand knowledge on this one)for "quote-processing fee" to
update your account. NORT is a profitable co. ($.05?-from memory) so
the reverse may not be so violent. IMO of course-good luck
