I have owned SFU before it was SFU in a number of accts.

let me lend a little insight to the business they are now in. They are selling a safety product for personal prodection in one of the most dangerous envirnoments a human will be placed in ( In the western world). Even if they have the best product and the best price it may take many years to get their product accepted by the bigger players.

Their price is really the economies the system offers of needing less people to operate the monitoring.

The big trick is - can they keep their head above water long ebough to get to a reasonable level of profitability. I hope so. They will have to beat on many doors and it will take a long time.

The Oil industry is not as price sensitive as other industries - If the end users have a product that they like and they are comfortable with and they know will save their lives it takes a lot of convincing to change. With any change of safety equipment there is risk and that change is not easily attained.

SFU is no longer an exploration company that could all of a sudden be a $5 stock overnight on a discovery. SFU to me is a buy in the RRSP and dont worry about it and check every few weeks and keep up with the news.

Good luck - I really hope there is limited downside to this puppy but I have said that more than once this year.
