AT&T Wins $150-Million Contract From Geico Direct WASHINGTON, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- GEICO Direct, one of the nation's premier auto insurers, has signed a 3 1/2 year, $150 million contract for AT&T's voice and data services.
AT&T will provide an array of switched and dedicated inbound and outbound voice services through AT&T OneNet(SM) Service, an integrated offer portfolio that simplifies managing complex telecommunications services. AT&T also provides GEICO Direct with dedicated digital private-line services, wireless services and AT&T interactive Answers(SM), a ''click to call'' service that integrates the insurance company's Web site with its call centers.
Additionally, GEICO Direct recently completed implementation of AT&T Resource Manager, a service that dynamically routes calls to geographically dispersed call centers to automatically balance work loads, and Intelligent Call Processing, a service that collects callers' information.
