Scott, perhaps I would be better to have your restraint in the face of deliberate lies, but I've held for 2 years now, suffering from what I knew to be a concerted effort to rob those of us who had done our due diligence and worked hard for the money we invested. For me this was an investment in my family's future, including 3 young children.
The tactics used by this mob, as you are well aware, amount to no less than assault and theft. They terrorized many who sold out in fear that the price would continue to drop, the company's reputation would be irreparably injured, and customers would be lost. Slowly, slowly, Osicom's management was strengthened with new believers like Rhenn and John, and they continued to focus on the internal company growth, believing in the technical strength of their products and human resources such as Xin.
The obstacles they overcame to get to where they are today have undoubtedly made this company stronger, yet. Credibility is as great as it could possibly be: Texas Utilities, MediaOne, NEC, Xerox, FORE, US West, TransAtlantic, Credit S. First Boston, many others and adding. NetSilicon is a force to be reckoned with on their own, and well worth the entire market cap of Osicom by themselves.
Now the mob wants to return, thinking the stock price rise is ripe for their raping.
Sorry, Scott - I respect what you're saying, and I may have agreed two years ago. It may not even be in our best interest to refute the lies. But believe me, they're not just posting because they enjoy arguing. What do you think their reason is? Do you really think if we shut up they'll go away before accomplishing their mission? Do you think "dog", "pig" and "garbage company" is coming from someone who just has a different opinion about the company? No! It's the quick-buck gang riding in, not because they've found a company that's overvalued, but to discredit with lies and innuendos - gang rape - a company that has worked hard to get where they are.
Now the bright side - I feel confident that Osicom's progress is beyond the ability of this Sad Sack (as Afaq termed it) group to permanently destroy. I just don't want to give them the pleasure of any more gain, however temporary. Maybe I should be happy that they allowed me to buy this stock by the hundreds after their first attack, but that's not how I live. The damage done to some people during that period was much worse.
While the facts are clearly in our corner, not all lies can be refuted with facts. Auric's assertion that he has knowledge that isn't public knowledge can't be fought with facts. Of course he has discredited himself by changing his story so many times that no one with a brain of their own could possibly give him any credit. But we need to show these contradictions to those who haven't followed as closely or may not know his MO with other stocks.
