Do you also say the same thing about a $90 stock? Would you really rather buy it at $300 or $360?

When Tharos said he would rather buy at $9, Xoma was around $7. I think many agree that it can be a reasonable strategy to buy on a breakout. Time however produces different resistance levels and different moving average paths so while respecting the concept of buying on a breakout it is something else to say one would rater pay 3 or 4 times as much for a stock.

If there is a breakout I will probably add to my position.
