Sold half my amat leaps today. I am unable to maintain the discipline of holding long-term. Even with everything I lost in nvls puts, I've more than doubled the money I put into the sector 4 months ago. Also switched all my tax-deferred acount from Fidelity Select Electronics (hitting a 52-week high) to Energy Services (near a 52-week low).

With amat and nvls within spitting distance of their 1997 highs, and all the uncertainty in the sector and general economy, I need to take some money off the table. Last time I did that, I sold just before a huge runup in intc. I don't think that's going to happen again, but I've been wrong before.

I'll hold cash till the semi-equip sector pulls back, or maybe dribble money into the oil service sector and wait till oil goes back to 18$/barrel, and keep up my frustrating search for undervalued stocks.
