Phillip, unless I'm mistaken, AOL has only 600MM shares authorized and around 518MM issued (data from the last 10-Q adjusted for the split which does not affect authorized shares if the split is accounted for as a "stock dividend"). If I'm correct, this means that there can be no split unless the company increases the number of shares authorized.
