I agree Shirley. If this system is similar to the geochemistry of Piernia, I agree the property needs much more work. As I said there is gold in the system.

What they are saying is that the system has vuggy silica centered around the cross cutting structures where quartz - alunite alteration surrounds the vuggy silica. This is a typical alteration assemblage. The source of the mineralizing fluids would be the structures. What they need is a nice porous unit cut by these crosscutting structures where fluids can spread laterally throughout the unit giving it a higher tonnage potential. The Piernia Mine has a nice porous unit which makes it a world class deposit. Flows are not porous.

The Barrick property is the one to watch. They have better geologists than Newcrest. Plus Newcrest is cheap.
