I've just completed an in-depth analysis of recent reverse splits, which shows that if a company is growing and profitable, such a step is not the proverbial "kiss of death". In fact it can actually strengthen the stock's market position by eliminating the risk of delisting. The analysis includes annotated charts for about a dozen recently implemented reverse splits.
