Their net margin in 12/96 qtr is 27.6%, outstanding!! Thanks for pointing it out... I always remembered Andy Chen bad-mouth-ing Oak Technology (oh ye, ESST) in this Cube thread before therefore I never paid much attention to Oak especially after their CD ROM controller IC business dive. DO you think Oak will have a good VCD business threatening Cube and ESST? I do not think Oak can do too much in VCD business. They must have some other high margin business than VCD..... Look at their gross margin of 68% for the 96/12 qtr.... Mark
