Apple's new Power Mac G3 series use HW decoder... Apparently they use an ATI Rage 128 graphics card with a daughter card connector for DVD. ------------- MPEG-2 decoding–necessary if you want to watch DVD movies on your Mac–is available as an optional daughtercard that plugs into the system's video card, and therefore doesn't require an additional slot.
