If you do a search of SYNT in "this subject only" on this thread you will see a number of posts dating back to around June of this year that will give a flavor for SYNT. I had not seen these until today so my analysis should be seen as independent from them.

XYLN looking good. If it hits $23 it would be very good. XYLN is not a huge contributor to bandwidth provision on the internet. For that play, you should be looking at CSCO, ASND, COMS, NT, LU and keep IBM and INTC in your peripheral vision.

And whereas I agree that we need more and more and more bandwidth, often the slowdowns are caused by overloaded servers and not by the pipes.

I ditched my EGGS last week.
