Venkie, LongOnDell.

You guys bashed me a while ago about how poor an investment Sun Microsystem is. Well, guess what, UNIX is NOT dead. Why do you think that it will be NT dominating in the future? You really expect MSFT can modify and enhance a 60 million lines of OS to achieve seemless scalability, extendibility while maintaining a high performance? Don't forget Merced's architecture is completely different than the current x86 chips. And they don't even have a firm release date yet. SUNW already has a 64bit OS out there in last October. Get a f*&^ing grip, SUNW will continue to dominate in the mid-high end while Wintel might wipe out the low end mom-and-pop low margin PC market. They will co-exist. And with JINI and an improved Java VM, SUNW will be a dominant player in the rapid changing, expanding consumer electronic market.

I am in the computer industry, so when I made my investment in SUNW, CSCO, INTC, MSFT and DELL, I knew what I am doing. On the other hand, you guys are so frigging blind and think only one platform will win out in this market. I've got words for you, the ISPs, big financial institutes aren't switching to NT any time soon. After all, when they have invested millions in SUNW's Soloris systems, why throw those away and buy NT? When will Windoze 2K prove that it's reliable, scalable, efficient enough for those killer apps? Not any time soon.

At the mean time, I am watching my SUNW going from 40 to 92, to 200...
I am buying more AOL now, I expect them to be at $600 by the end of the year. Will get into YHOO below 200. DELL? what the hell has happened to this stock? I got them at 42 1/2, I am still waiting for a break out.
