Hi Werlick, FST as an investment ?? My opinion is only as an "industry player" not as an "informed" party. Whether or not FST (or any other of the Strachan sisters) are now good investments is largely a function of the generally perceived oil prices one year out. Until oil prices pick up, a substantial recovery in junior oils will not be there, IMHOO BWDIK. Notwithstanding the foregoing, I did recently add meaningfully to my significant (to me) holdings in TKE. I do not presently hold FST. I long ago chose to play Strachan via TKE and therefore have only held small and very short term trading positions in FST. While I do have some peripheral knowledge of the company's affairs, I do not follow FST closely and am ill prepared to comment upon the pros and cons of an investment in FST. For early 1999, my own junior oil & gas investments will be relatively minor. I will target "special situations" and juniors with a stake in exploration plays with very large reward potential. By mid to late 1999, I "expect" that I will be satisfied that oil prices are recovering, and if so I'll add crude oil futures. And, I'll also aggressively add junior oils. IMHOO FWIW BWTHDIK !!!!
