No, I'm not making any predictions about Microsoft's earnings. Ok, that's not true, here's one prediction: Microsoft will see less revenue from Directory Services products than Novell will this coming quarter. :) Actually, I'll repeat that prediction for the next two quarters as well. After that, it will depend on whether or not you count their next OS upgrade/bugfix/whatever to be a Directory Services product. So the real question is, how much money is there in directory services and products when Bill Gates said that Microsoft was "betting the farm" on Windows NT 5.0, which was to be known principally for its directory services?
