I, too, got into WSP early. Been in, been out, back in again.
Great faith in the company.

I'm no expert but my understanding is that dykes are the results
of fissures that fill up with kimberlite and may host diamonds
but these fissures may be quite narrow. Gerle Gold and PUG and ACA
ran into dykes. They give off all the right signs. Indicator
minerals. G9 G10 garnets. But they are not economic because
there is so much rock that has to be moved along with the
kimberlite. What is hoped for is a regular kimberlite core
(think of a carrot), in which the top of the core hasn't been
weathered down too much. Once identified, evaluated, the core
can be mined as solid kimberlite. No other barren intrusions to
move at great cost but with no return. I'm assuming that
dykes don't have to be narrow. I think ACA and PUG are trying
to track one of these that they identified last year in the
hope that it will lead them to a regular kimberlite core.
If you read up on Gerle Gold and look at their garnet distribution
map that got everyone excited last year, then see what happened
when they realized they had dykes rather than a regular kimberlite
core you'll be able to see the results.

I've got a question I posed on the RVA thread but didn't get
any replies. There's only three of us fools who admit to buying
RVA. I've got an old map of the Lac de Gras area from the
Northern Miner. I'm interested in the companies that have claims
around the WSP/ABZ Camsell Lake find. But I know my map is out
of date. Does anyone know where I can get an up to date map
so I can see what jv's are still in force and who has what
property. No map I have shows AHB's or SNL's property.
