Thanks, Malcolm.

Here's a stock that fits the bill: ARWM. Arrow-Magnolia is a small cap stock that markets 400 different chemical products. It's earning more than ever and yet is almost at its 52 week low and at 60% of its high for the year. 3M shares outstanding but most are tightly held by management. The float is 1.1M.

Of interest, as you pointed out earlier, this stock trades thinly and it goes days without a trade but today 240k shares traded with a huge block at the 52-week low. As soon as the transaction was completed the bid/ask jumped back up.

They are in the process of doubling the size of their factory's output which has impacted production since September. They took an extra hit on capital expenditures in the latest 10Q. The addition to the factory should be completed by now.

One other thing: ARWM was featured in Business Week as one of the top 100 small cap growth companies of 1998.
