What has Barton Biggs been smoking??? He was on CNBC today and said viewers should "short the large cap blue chip stocks" as his only current global play. A little pullback before earnings season may occur, but short the blue chips? Barton sounds about as bright as me - the guy who sold IBM at 186 and INTC at 123 today. Brilliant. Earnings season run ups have come early this year. Barton wants us to sell so he can buy cheaper. Clown.
