Gerald-- Three possibilities here. 1) They were so sure he had no case that they didn't bother to try to settle out of court. 2) They were afraid that if they paid him off he'd find another way to come back at them. 3) They figured the sexual harrassment charges--which, if aired in court, would be extremely embarrassing to him--would keep him from going too far. But in the end greed always wins out. This should blow over sooner or later. But WHAT a soap opera! Janice
