Hi Matt -- Welcome. I don't know if you've gone back and read the whole thread, but my own two Pokemon advisors are showing no signs of moving on after several months. And Nintendo is positioning itself for the long haul with waves of promotion, the N64 game later this year, etc. I don't know if kids are going to want to collect all 150 Pokemon figures, but I predict you're going to see Pikachus all over the place eventually. My 6-year-old had several disappointed classmates around Christmastime when their parents couldn't find any (or the right) Pokemon toys, and these days the toys are being sold in my area (suburban NYC) for several dollars above MSRP (like $11.99 for a Battle Disc set that was $9.99 at FAO Schwarz in October and that had been listed as $7.50 MSRP originally).
