True Ish, and the Clintons certainly shouldnt have said that... but heres what I think you are missing. The Clintons dont go around saying, "You are BAD and we are GOOD" to entire groups of people the way the republicans do. If you want to run on values, I think the dems have the right idea... just make statements like "we are going to try to be better than before" and leave it at that. Unlike the republicans who alienate whole groups of people as fodder for their values blather. With Quayle it was single moms, there are literally millions of those come on, and with Buchanan its the gays - remember his tirade over that stupid film where there was a 30-second snippet from some decadent gay halloween party, as if this is whats wrong with the nation - these BAD people. Never mind guns etc it certainly isnt that.
