Yes, but that would likely happen sometime after tomorrow, and would
be little comfort to those who might be paying $40/share for the
stock tomorrow. If it drops to $10 on Thursday, they are stuck
with $10 worth of stock which can be liquidated, for which they
paid $40, and $30 worth of stock which, although "free", will
require (as I understand it) a 2-year holding period before they
can sell it. All this assuming they only bought 1 share.
