Computer Networking For the second day in a row group posted strong gains without much news... Gains split between big names such as Ascend (ASND +1 5/8) and Cisco (CSCO +1 5/8) and second tier companies Xylan (XYLN +1 11/16) and Newbridge Networks (NN +3 5/8)... Latter stock profiled in 12/28 tech commentary as turnaround candidate for 1999... Next stop 39 3/16... Meanwhile, XYLN, profiled on this page yesterday, took out key resistance and is now ready for a near- to intermediate-term test of the 25-27 area.
