One Christmas he did get me some flannel sleepers---they were red and had little white rubber feet. Just like the babies', except mine didn't have He-man or Superman on the front. They were the greatest pajamas I ever, ever owned. I don't think Dan realized that I would wear them every night until they fell apart. I don't think he thought I would wear them at all, now that I think about it. He may not have meant for me to- they may have been a joke. Oh dear.
