Here's something from Micron Electronics, one of the top ten volume manufacturers of PC's: Micron Electronics Introduces the DataFRAME 450 Disk Subsystem for Highly Scalable, Fast, Cost-Effective Mass Storage biz.yahoo.com Nowhere is SAN or NAS mentioned but I believe that this is what they are talking about. The big difference then(between this and Dell/ Compaq) is that they are going with a SCSI-based solution -- at least for now. Probably not a bad idea since the two superpowers(Dell and Compaq) haven't announced plans for SCSI(that I know of). Craig
