Fast forward. The year is 2000.

Getting home from work you flip on the Divicom box and grab
the air mouse.

You see you have mail so you click on the Mail Icon to retrieve it.
You click on the tuner Icon and bring up MSNBC in a window, to catch the latest news.

A commercial is on and your surprised that AOL is still using the Jetsons for their adds, actually your kind of surprised they're still in business and can afford to advertise on MSNBC.

Email's here so you start browsing through the headers and find one from your sister in colleague. She wanted to know where the Ebola virus originated from and what the current number of recorded cases are. You can't quite remember, so you pop Encarta into the DVD drive and up pops the browser. You start a search on "Ebola".

Meanwhile you aren't getting the East coast news you wanted on MSNBC so you flip over to the East coast Echostar satellite and tune into CNN.

Your wonder about the Tokyo stock market so you popup a browser jump to quote.yahoo.jp

Back to Encarta you drag the article into your sisters Email reply. You then click on the Encarta update link and get the latest case numbers from www.msn.com and drop those in also. Off it goes.

The Japan market is still recovering from last months crash just as you expected. You close the browser and start thinking of the next new market stock to go after.

News is rather boring and nothing good is on the DBS (400 channels with nothing good on?) so you grab the latest DVD disc that just came in the mail from Columbia House. It's Starwars 5 return of the Dark side.

You click on the House Icon and set the lighting to Theater level and settle back.

You're sure glad you kept those C-Cube stocks that Nadalin guy on the web was so bullish on.

Have a good weekend all!
