The reference to the dark sucker theory is to the ludicrous nature of the story..... which by the way, it was posted as a joke, in the Lucent thread......
From there it grew, since there was someone who actually considered the possibility.... (i.e. did not dismissed it, as what it was, a joke), and a third poster continued the joke.
So I posted it here, not to say that LU investors were "dark suckers"... how could I, since I have benefited from LU as well. Greatly so.
Rather, I posted it as a standard to show that if there were people that could believe such dribble, then, the possibility that people could believe the dribble from most, [as in 99% of the], penny stocks, is quite high. In particular, the reference to isoman's post where someone makes the statement:
"This is not a solicitation for securities, simply a "guage" of possible interest in a process. Thank you."

As for calling you a "Dark Sucker", well that depends, if you line up for the IPO of The Fringe Elements, Inc. slated for April 1st. 1999, you may still get the designation, (with corresponding shares, options, warrants, and any other... er, fringe benefit the officers may come up with).
