OT: I am a conservative republican who has followed closely the proceedings that have taken this country down a dark path. I have studied the FACTS and I believe the following FWIW.

A) He lied under oath, but these lies are not worth disrupting a popular vote
B) He did not IMO abuse the powers of the presidency to the level of impeachment
C) He should be indited and have a trial when he leaves office as you or I would.
D) He is a figurehead like it or not and for that reason he should keep his job until his term is complete.
E) The republican party has performed a witch hunt and the average person on the street sees that and wonders what happened to White water, File Gate, Travel gate, suicides ect. I still have a memory of Senator Demato getting on the news and bragging that they were going to hang Clinton for what he did.
F) Foster killed himself. except it or prove it.

Finally you stated this
It seems the impeachment "conservatives" are those intelligent enough to read and comprehend just what this administration has done (not their "left" policies, but the unethical, immoral and illegal acts) and then form an informed opinion on those facts.

I believe both sides of the isle believe that he was unethical, immoral and may have done illegal acts. But what you misunderstand is the extreme, the ousting of a president for hiding a relationship with lies is hypocritical. While it is true that no republican has ever lied under oath about an illicit affair, ask yourself how many other politicians have been asked that question under oath? Just maybe they would have done the same thing. Either way its not worth this BS time consuming waist of my tax paying dollars
