I have an account with Lombard and have been quite happy with the service. I usually place my trades after the markets have closed for execution the next trading day; therefore I've not used the real time quote feature.

Limit orders have been place accurately and it looks, from the charts, as though they got placed at the best possible price. They offer trading by touch tone phone as well as over the internet for the same price.

The only thing I do not like about the service is this: if you place a trade over the net, you can't confirm the trade by phone without talking to a real live person. Also at one time, I placed a trade and the confirmation came back from the internet "expired". I knew the limit price was met during the day so I called to talk to a broker. He confirmed that the trade was in fact executed even though the program had informed me incorrectly. He referred this glitch to tech support.

I would like to know if Lombard is a publically held company. Anyone know if this company trades on one of the exchanges?
