>> BNEZ management has to know the total of units that have left from the home office. The PR would be timely and let investors know how PMA is doing in it's infant stages. <<
Of course BNEZ management knows how many units have been shipped. And I personally think the rate of sales online that we've seen gives us a good indication of how PMA is doing in this "infant stage", along with the pr's already issued.
Wasn't the first shipment to Ingram Micro 10,000 units?
Then there was this:

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Ben Ezra, Weinstein and Company, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: BNEZ - news; www.benez.com) announced today that Ingram Micro has placed its third order for Inc.'s Personal Market Analyst (PMA), the company's multimedia investment software.
''Ingram Micro advised us that this shipment is intended for over two hundred CompUSA stores,'' said Jack Ben Ezra, President and CEO. ''We are pleased to be on the shelves of a retail operation that sold almost a billion dollars worth of software in 1997. CompUSA also has an extensive online catalogue,'' he added, ''and we expect to do well there.''
''Building on the momentum of PMA's nationwide presence in Staples and online catalogues, the placement of PMA in CompUSA stores is another step toward our goal of putting PMA on the shelves of major retailers coast to coast,'' said Michael Weinstein, Chief Operating Officer.
Inc.'s Personal Market Analyst is an educational stock evaluation software package that helps investors perform fundamental analysis on over 6,000 public companies. Ingram Micro is the world's largest supplier of computer software products.
We also know that PMA will soon be on shelves at Staples.
I'm also looking forward to where else it may appear on store shelves. In the meantime I agree with the company's decision to not state preliminary shipment (only) figures and am willing to wait for definite sales revenue figures. |
