Hi Temp -

Nice to hear from you - it has been a while.

I sense your patience is running in 'lean' mode right now. I can fully understand the frustration - Bruce, Charles and I have discussed this topic lately.

The good news is that FTEL is hitting the target lately. Remember that behind the hardware sales is at least a one year contract to manage the network. In addition, I personally think the FNET network linking with this USA based company is going to accellerate FNET's emergence as a player because this allows FNET to concentrate on increasing overseas installations where revenues are higher. Thus a Win/Win for both companies. For one thing, the compatibility and billing issues are already resolved!

The recent flurry of activity coming into the new year may be any number of things. First, an attempt to drive the stock higher where the company can liquidate some of its holdings to raise capital for expansion and also reward the principals of the company. If this is the case, look for a rapid increase in price, sell-off by insiders, and a rapid decline in price. Or second, the deep rumblings of the FNET IPO being prepared for announcement; although at this point I'm like everyone else - show me. Thirdly, there has also been allusion to FNET being bought out. If it's for $15-$20, I'm all for it. I'm actually looking for an announcement relating to financing so that the FNET installations can be accellerated. This next reporting quarter should be interesting

As far as your stock certificate is concerned, Helen and Tom may be able to help you out there, as they should have in their files the original paper work you signed to purchase your shares. And they should also be able to 'wiggle' the toes of their transfer agent.

Cheers,

George

PS. For all you FNET holders out there, Bruce and I are talking about purchasing vintage Corvettes and meeting up on Rt. 66 should our beloved company make it to the big time AND we profit from the experience. Any body want to join us?

Bruce has his sights on a '65, wearing a pair of Speedos and Ray Ban shades; me, I'm a plain and simple fan of the '63 split window with 360hp. Blue jeans and a Hawiian shirt - no shoes...
