Steve:

Don't know GLGC well enough to compare them to anyone. It's one of my glaring "want to cover them" weak spots. I wanted another gene mining company to complement MLNM, and I went with CRGN due to their recent report on SNPs, their cash and potential convertible debt instruments, and the (IMO under-appreciated) Glaxo deal. Market cap to cash ratio is better for CRGN than for GLGC, and market cap to cash plus convertible debt instruments ratio is very low.

The company didn't get a conventional start, funding wise, and management is not conventional.

Horrendous burn.

Do you know much about GLGC?

AXPH...... I don't know what I'm talking about, but here's some free-flow crud that somebody might shoot down or add to.......
tryptase/psoriasis.... I worry that, for autoimmunity, attacking any given effector molecule or any given route to the generation of effector molecules will be too far downstream. I'm more enthusiastic about efforts to block the activity or migration of T cells than attempts to inhibit mast cell products. But, then again, the pathogenesis of psoriasis sort of looks like a mixed bag, and I may be T cell centric. Anybody know the AXPH perspective?

Bayer sure does seem to be committed to asthma, and I like the chances there better. I don't expect miracles, however. I expect that patients will experience some moderation of symptoms.

Cheers! Rick
