dj, AOL the company has many critical challenges ahead. No prophets here, though we like to try seeing the future a bit.

However, if you believe AOL's prospects are so poor that you are considering shorting the stock, perhaps you should think it through again.

Some of the most current news:
a. $1.2 billion in holiday e-commerce sales
b. 1 million new subscribers between mid-November and late December despite the fact it is not a free service
c. partnerships with Netscape and Sun Microsystems, and NSCP announced its 10 millionth user yesterday.
