The news on Yahoo says that these are restricted shares that can't be sold unless you've held the original stock for more than 2 years. But a 300% dividend doesn't make any sense.... So it must be a split as Carl R says which allows long term holders to dump their extra stock. It sounds totally outrageous to me. Especially the statement that this won't affect the stock price.....
