CWEI closed @ 17 1/4, -5/8, Bid 17 1/4 X Ask 17 1/2...Vol..27.6K CWEI got hammered again today, although the volume was very low. At a price of 17.25, CWEI is now selling at less than 10X estimated earnings. As mentioned previously I have mailed Zacks a copy of Lajuanda Holder's letter showing Paine Webber's increased estimates. I have also asked Lajuanda to get in touch with the Paine Webber analyst and have him contact Zacks. My experience with Zacks is they are very slow to respond to letters I have mailed to them in the past; the Paine Webber analyst would probably have a much better chance of reaching them. I am now wondering if First Call has reported any change in earnings estimates for CWEI???? March Oil $24.05, down 0.13 (CWEI received $18.78 in Q1 1996) Feb Gas $2.82, up 0.03 (CWEI received $2.29 in Q1 1996)
