Lucius: I share your perspective on finding new gorilla's but clearly the risk is finding them directly proportionate to the immaturity of the market they intend to dominate. I've been long CTXS for 2+ yrs and have been rewarded very well, but in hindsight - what an anxiety ride that was! It's now my second largest holding after CSCO. EMC and WCOM are on my list and I think qualify for gorilla status. Picking in 1999 is what most market pundits recommend and sticking with gorilla's to the extent possible is my only strategy for this year. I thought I had one in ASPT, but am about to get killed at the open :-( To that end I'm shedding most of my small cap's and rolling into a core of gorilla's. In this crazy market I'll narrow risk wherever I can. Hope it pay's, but 1998 will be tough to beat. Best of luck to all longs.
