Actually, both of us were wrong. You commented that the cash taken in by Ligand during the 4th quarter would not have an effect on the 4th quarter earnings report.

That's not true. One of the first thing that investors look for in a biotech earnings report is the cash at hand. Biotechs have been punished for not having sufficient cash at hand or funding at their disposal.

I was wrong about the "revenues" part of the earnings report, but not about the "cash" part.

You were wrong about the cash not effecting the earnings report.

As far as Bob Zagorin's comments? Bob posts friendly posts, unless provoked, and has constantly tried to post information to the rest of us, such as the BOP indicator, etc. I thought Bob's posts related to this current "revenue" discussion, were supportive, friendly and polite. You should attempt such a post some day instead of trying to antagonise all the time.

I've got an idea. How about you taking the high road, for a change, and contributing to this thread instead of posting insults and provoking others.

What's your prediction for Ligand in the short term and the long term. Are you still a naysayer? Do you have any reason to still be a naysayer?

One of the recent analysts has a price target of $30 for Ligand. Any thoughts on that?

TIA, Bob
