"Big cap computer companies have now totally exorbitant valuations. This creates an extremely dangerous situation in case of bad surprises."

Oh, don't get me started here again.

I'm continually surprised at the amount of bad news this market absorbs and keeps heading up. Cut estimates, bad sales. Growth for the next year looks terrible. Only one word I can think of explains it all; liquidity.

Only thing keeping me in the market is the old saying "Bull markets climb a wall of worry." And it's doing it.

But the bubble seems to be getting huge. But "huge" is a relative term, and there's always those saying "it's differnet this time". And maybe it is. But if the bubble pops, October lows probably won't hold us.

PS re "(not to mention margin calls for Internet stock investors forcing them to sell other stock holdings)."
I think most of the on-line brokers, where most of the wheelers and dealers in these stocks play, have already raised margin requirements for playing these stocks. That should help a little.

Shovelling snow again this morning. High temp yesterday reached +2F. Cold.
