As a guy who buys servers for a large company, I can't agree more with your perspective. We're not going to take a chance for $1-2K per server

I used to sell (1993) AST servers against CPQ. My price was substantially lower and the product had good quality and support. It was Intel-based too, of course. It was a tough sell.

I hope that INTC's marketing takes advantage and reinforces this concept loudly. Its worth it.
