I think the point of the interview is to show that uBid is going to excell where eBay is weak, namely customer service. Remember that eBay was subject to problems with delivery since they don't provide the goods, but rather act solely as middleman.

The point the interview made to me is that uBid will be responsible and responsive to the customer, and thereby offer the benefits of retail at auction pricing. And the margin is made up through volume, just like amzn, ebay, etc., for if they don't do volume at discount, there's no reason to buy there.

As to the question about the price of the stock, I think he was put on a slippery slope, since the market is volatile and anything he says could be used in a derivative suit if the price drops.

But looking at the gap up this morning, it's hard to argue (at least with any credibility) that this stock hasn't based around 120. Like it or not, uBid is for real.
